We had an awesome time at Singapore Botanic Gardens! We learnt a lot more about Singapore Botanic Gardens, let share some of the things that we learnt at the Botanic Gardens.
Firstly, the Botanic Gardens was opened by our forefather, Sir Stamford Raffles. But after his death, the garden was closed for a short period.
In June 1990, the garden came under the management of the newly formed National Parks Board.
The tree on the Singapore 5-dollars note is located in the Botanic Gardens. There are many other tree there for all of us to enjoy. Different activties are held up there to let children learn more about the history and to get nearer to nature.
We also learned that we shouldn't waste paper, as they cut trees down to make paper for us. There are squrriels in the Botanic Gardens that made us feel sorry for them as their home are cut down, just for us, human beings.
We learned a lot more different kind of trees and flowers. The food there are delicious! The restaurants are located near to water pond and trees to let us get a step nearer to nature. Having lunch with the nature.
We'll post more about the Botanic Gardens. Don't forget to give your voting at the poll in our blog. Cbox is coming soon, so that all of you can post what you want. Thank you...and we hope you'll support Singapore Botanic Gardens.
